I'm setting up my Win 94 for next season. I was looking through Cabelas website(where i buy most of the things) looking at scopes and seen a scope called a "lever action" scope...left me with a odd look on my face.

Is there any difference with scopes? besides the obvious shotgun/muzzleloader scopes. would a normal centerfire scope work?

Lever action scopes mean they are set up with dots that only reach out as far as a typical 30-30 is good for ( if that makes any sense) just get a leupold vx-1 3-9x40 and your good to go

ohh k. something like those Bushnell DOA scopes. yea i'll probably just go grab one of them where i hunt shots aren't any more than 125-150yrds.

thanks
