Lever Evolution ammo

I finally got to shoot my new 1895 again, Its my first Marlin and first big bore.

I only had a chance to shoot at 50yrds. at my buddies farm, which I am guessing will probably be the max I will be shooting while hunting deer in the bush. I am using a Firesight for the front and stock rear sight, and I can hit bull with it at that distance.

My question is, using LeverEvolution ammo, how much will the bullet drop at 100yrds, or will it Huh

What marlin? 444/45-70/450?

For a big bore, the LeverEvolution stuff shoots pretty flat to 100. I would guess 2-3 inches down at 100 from 50.

how old is the gun aswell.

lever evolution isnt meant for guns that are really old. they need a slightly newer action to be really safe.

tis what i have been told atleast. (for 45-70 and such, not so much for 30-30 )
