Lever Gun Takedown Conversions? Any Canadian Gunsmiths that are doing this?

Thanks.

I picked this up from Grizzly Customs in the States, and I'd like to see if I could get it converted.

Smoothest rifle I have ever owned! This guy does amazing work, although it was bought when the exchange rate was much more palatable.

Don't know any gunsmiths but at the cost of a conversion you could just own a modern winchester 1894 trails end take down. Keeping the marlin in good condition and having a new takedown seems like a grand idea. But would also be cool to have a conversion, just seems it might be hard here in canada.

The conversion doesn’t look that hard. The one guy that does them , said it took 6 hours to do all the work , on a Rossi lever. Now you got me thinking.... I’ve got an old Marlin 444 that is in need of a total rebuild...on the outside! Maybe time to do something with the old girl. But then and again, she shoot really good!
Do you think the conversion , would play a part in accuracy . That would be my only worry.
Cheers

Apparently it doesn't affect the accuracy. Might be a good rifle to give it a try with!
