Lever revolution!!!

I'm wondering what you would have to do to make a cartridge go off in a tubular magazine-beat on the butt with a hammer?I just can't see even dropping it on the ground as enough to set off a primer.Even hard plastic points should negate any possability of ignition-the firing pin has to hit the primer with enough force indent it -and I can't see just dropping the gun as providing sufficient force to do that

There was reported case of injury with a custom lever in .450 Alaskan or some such, which had a seamless steel tube fitted, glasbedded/bonded into the forend. The tube ruptured, the wood shattered, and there was serious injury to the left hand. Otherwise, the results seem to be as reported above.

As well mentioned already, I would definitely like to try rolling a couple to try but I would have to be really convinced by the manufacturer that they are safe. With my pre 64, 94, and my Williams peep sight, these would make a eal nice deer combo.

Do you really think that they are not safe...
I talked to a friend who was at the writers conference and he says they shot a pile of these and they are awesome....
