Leverevolution .44 mag.

Has anyone used the 225 grain lever evolutions in a tube mag ruger .44? Do they feed well?? Thanks for your input!

I have shot some out of my Rossi Ranch hand and they seem to shoot fairly well. I have not tried them in my Ruger carbine yet but will probably soon.

I have a ruger Deerfield and it jams horribly with them.

I have had no problems running them in my 44 carbine.

No problems out of my Marlin 1894. In fact, they soot to the same poa as my 240gr XTP loads.

I similar experience with my 1894. about 2" higher than the 240 XTP @ 100 yards.

yes I do realize this, and have seen them used to great effect in 30-30's but have read of some feeding issues with the old rugers. Hoping for some first hand user info on the ruger .44 carbine tube mag. Thanks to those owners who have responded!

They worked fine in my 94 trapper but I haven't been able to make them feed in my marlin

Why bother. They aren't as good as 240 Gr JHP rounds. And all my guns prefer JHP

thanks...but i've already found the solution. It loves 240 gr hollowpoints...
