Hey y'all,
I'm thinking of getting a LeverEvolution scope for my Savage 170 30-30 pump rifle.
Is this a bad idea? (Will I run into problems with eye relief by mounting it on a pump rifle, which could have a closer receiver than a lever rifle?)
I don't have a lot of money to spend, and I like the idea that it is tailored to the LeverEvolution ammo.
I'm sure there is an XYZ scope for only X dollars more, but - I don't have a ton of money, I only spent $125 on the gun, and I don't want to spend more than that on a scope. It's only a .30-30, after all.
Edit: Maybe in the future, should the gun prove to be a straight shooter, I would consider a pricier scope . . .
