love that stuff. Very accurate. I too use it in my mod94 30/30. Its more accurate further out I've found, however it could just be I had a good day at the range as I usually suck past 200yds with the open sights.

cant remember how its spelled but has anyone tried this stuff, i think its made by hornady. Does it work good?

Are you planning to load it in your rifle and shoot it? If so, it is great. However if you go on a hunt, don't see anything, and then unload it (and repeat this for 2 weeks) you will find that the polymer tip stays permanently deformed slightly. What is the result, well we shot some at the range after we noticed that the tips were NOT straightening out again, and at 100 yards on paper, we found that they were tumbling... tearing oval holes that indicates that it is hitting almost completely sideways.

So, if you load it and shoot it, great. If you don't get to shoot it and keep reloading your rifle over and over (cycling the ammo through it) well your results may be less than what you want.

As always, YMMV

You should tell Hornady about your experience. Maybe a bad batch of polymer.

I use the Z-Max which is the same bullet. Really accurate out of my 94..

I'd email Hornady with your batch and lot #s. I just check out my box which spent quite a bit of time loaded in the tube mag and none of them are displaying any sort of malformation.
