LF 16 gauge reloading supplies

They're pretty hard to come by. However, Canadian Tire seems to be stocking factory 16 guage in limited supplies. I've picked up a case and a half at my local Canadian Tire over the past two seasons. You might have to ask for it. Shoot it and save the hulls!

There is a company in the US, Ballistic Products that still ships to Canada. I've gotten good service from them in the past. You can find them at:

thanks for the tip

i used ballistic supplies all the time up until my last call, they told me they won't ship to canada anymore, bummer, their stuff is really in-expensive. I'll try CT this weekend.

X2! Will is a great guy and can help you out.
I know for a fact that he has a ton of 16 gauge stuff, because he shoots a 16SXS!:D
Just don't try to contact him during the day, he's likely trying to get the last of the waterfowl season in!

I also buy Ballistic Products from Will Bilozir at the address above, he has been good to deal with. One tip: the Fiocchi hulls are crap. The BP "multi" hull is a bit better, Cheddites are OK too, but both are often only good for about 5 loadings. Remington black hulled Game loads are by most accounts the best hull available, but you must buy them factory loaded and shoot the shells to get some to reload. I just buy Remington 8's or 7-1/2's by the case and use them for sporting clays. Reloads are for hunting. The commonly available Remington wad of course fits the remingotn hull perfectly, but has a 1-1/8 oz shotcup, too much for most upland bird shooting with the 16 ga. IMHO.
There is a 16 Ga. society that you can look up on the net, and they have a good reloading "group" that you can join for a nominal fee and you'll get a lot of good data and tips.

i've got the 16g multi-hulls now, previous order, 1 1/8 loads (rem sp16 wads) 26.5 gr, that's quite a bit, 40A bushing for my MEC compared to 19.8 gr for 1 ounce
