If you are looking for the origional WWII scope to put on a run of the mill Enfield, you are likely best to rethink your plans. It is not a drop on conversion..the pads for the mount are screwed/soldered to the receiver, and are collimated to the bore.
That is the technical problem. Now for the financial one.
The prices for any of the origional Enfield scopes are through the roof these days, and not getting any cheaper. Expect to pay between $1200 to $2000 for the scope with bracket. One set sold on ebay for over $3000, but that was with the scope can, mind you.
There is a complete, albeit mismatched Enfield with it's scope in the Exchange forum. I think it's priced at $2500 or so. Belive it or not, that is a fair price. That does not include the stowage chest nor the scope can.
