I'm sure most are doing the same even if someone could point me in the right direction or has some parts available. I would be very thankful I know marstar has parts but seem a little on the high side to me and ebay but most seem to be out of the states has anyone order from the ebay and had any issues getting parts here to canada. Thank you for any help in advance.

Advertise you have a crap load of money to spend on M1 parts,its a good start to get PM's and connections
On the other hand, you have to develope friends in different parts of the world to sell you scrap metal or tooling fixtures for your "project"
OR , be patient...eat 3 meals a day...pray....go to bed early....and give to charities,you may be surprised what you find if you dig deep in the world wide web!!!

E-Bay provides money to the people who want to take your firearms away from you. No firearm stuff is supposedly allowed by their anti-firearm ownership policies either.
Anyway, M1 Rifle parts other than barrels (and receivers I think) are not on the U.S. government's restricted for export list so they can be exported with no fuss. You can buy 'em from the U.S., but you may have a problem finding a seller who will ship 'em due to the cost. Have a look at Gunparts for M1 Rifle parts. Not all of their stuff is new or in great shape though.
