LF 1/16 brass pin punch to remove pin on an ambi safety on a Beretta 92FS. alternative suggestions would also be appreciated.

I've never seen brass punches that small. They would probably break after one whack, no matter how soft the tap....brass is just too soft for that application...

I use Brownell's punches with the replaceable punch tips. You can get them in starter punch length, normal length or long.....and when you break a tip, you just replace the tip.....see below...

1/16" is too small. Even if there were such a thing. A 1/8" should do it. A 1/8" brass rod can be cut to length easily and won't cost much. Use a wooden or plastic mallet.

1/16 is the size for rmeoving the pins on the safety (beretta) if anyobdy has other suggestions for the removal I am all ears.
Will Brownells sell into Canada without exorbitant fees?

once you get the pin out, there's a spring and detent that bears against the safety to stop if from falling "on"- be careful not to lose those-

You want to use a hard pin that will not bend. You can alway use a 1/16 inch drill bit, breaking the flutes off and grinding the end flat and hold it with forceps.

Or you can buy a punch or punch sets in Canada, or you can order special punches from Brownells. They don't charge Canadians any more than any other customer. It is our own governments that do that.

Don't know if you've found your punches yet, but Princess Auto has cheap sets. I just purchased one last week...a set of 8 for about $3.00. 1/16" is the smallest one in the set. I didn't go with brass though, it would have bent too easily.

If you're stuck on Brass Punches....Princess Auto does carry them that small.

go to any machine supply company, buy quality, if your working on a $600.00 gun why risk a problem and a drill out, slightly bevel end as a lead in to prevent burring hole mouth, another source is McMasterCarr.com, while a Us company they expedite thru a canadian office

+1 on the brass punch bending..mine did.
I ended up using the Rob Mc method. I ground the tip off a set of the small "precision" screwdrivers. they work rather well too.
