hello,

I'm new to this forum and currently have my PAL (restricted and non-resticted) license.
I just want to know..

1. what type of license do I need to buy an M4 rifle in Ontario?
2. which club in ontario allow you to shoot this type of rifle?
3. where to buy this rifle in ontario?

I used to be a member at Burlington rifle club and have shot .45 and .40 cal.
I'm a big fan of M4s and want to know if I can obtain it here in Toronto.

all help will be greatly appreciated.

Your restricted pal is all you need, most outdoor ranges and some indoor ranges are A-ok to shoot it at (most indoor ranges may make you use fragmentable rounds) Target sports, annd Al simmons in Hamilton would be your closest spots

-An M4 is a select-fire military rifle. 12(3) class prohibited. You can never own one. However, you can own the widely popular (at least stateside) civilian-class AR-15, and its variants.

-Any club with an approved centerfire rifle range.

-Look on top, a few supporting dealers sell the AR-15 platform, either in components, or complete assemblies.
