Liebril Ban on Military Weapons

Don't look now but the liebrils are after military weapons. I don't think they will stop at just Black rifles. Theaded muzzles, detach mags, bayonet lugs all headed for the smelter.

If you read the news release, it specifies semi-auto's with specific "evil" features. Not just rifles with the "evil" features.

It does not apply to Lee-Enfields, but it will apply to M1 Garands, M1 Carbines, SVTs, SKSs, AG42Bs, SAFNs..........need I go on?

Yet Dion specifically mentioned the Mini 14 which has only a detachable magazine (in factory form). As pointed out, they are not stopping with "military" arms, and one could reasonbly argue they are not starting there either.

For a supposed "Canadian", Dion's proposed rules sound awfully like that old set of American guidelines...
