life of cleaning media....

im tumbling with the stuff that came with my lyman turbo tumbler its a type of cermic i believe, used dry ive run about 6 full loads of dirty brass through it so far and it works good the only problem is now the media is almost black and leaving black dust on the cases.... is there anyway i can clean it or should i just pitch it and refill (i have lots anyway)....

I bought a Lyman Turbo 2500 and never got any media...I feel gypped.

Do you put bits of paper towel or used dryer sheets in with it? I do that in mine and they come out black and the media stays clean. I am using corncob and have only done a couple batches of 500.

i think you have the bigger version mine is the 1500 i belive i was half the price and came with free media!

i will try the dryer sheet idea....
