Light 9mm

Most plastic-framed 9mm pistols (i.e. Glock, HK, S&W, Walther) are in the 25-30 oz range. I'm sure you can find something even lighter (i.e. a mini-Glock with an extended barrel) but I don't see any practical reason for going under 25 oz unless you need one for concealed carry, which is not an option for most of us.

Well balanced is subjective , but lightest, in restricted class it may well be a Glock 17, it weighs in at 22oz. Thats about the weight of Colt's D-frame all steel snub.

Look no further, one and only one is G17. It may not be the lightest but it is very reliable, very accurate, well balance and is one of the most famous gun out there. But just doesn't look too good and most of the plastic flame gun out there are also ass looking. BTW some days later you will want a big heavy shooting iron.

Didn't Smith and Wesson make a snubby airweight in 9mm, that would be about 14 ounces. They loaded with half moon clips, don't know what the loaded weight would be.
