Hey CGN

I'm needing to mount a light on my 12.5 grizzly.(1'' tube surefire) What do you guys(girls) think would be the best method?? The gun is wearing nice wood furniture and I want to keep it.(no surefire forends etc) Is there a barrel mount that will work on the 12.5''??

Thanks, love this site

Streamlight makes a mount that goes on the end of the factory mag tube and is secured by the end cap. Assuming your Grizzly has the ratcheting end cap retainer (or whatever it's called) it'ss stay in place nicely.

I had one of these on my HP9-1. It eventually broke at the bend point. It was a Streamlight.

I have one of these on my 870. No signs of problems over a couple hundred rounds, but that hardly constitutes a torture test.

I like them. Big advantages are ease of mount/dismount. OP, for your application, I haven't seen any other option (12.5", want to keep forend as is). I don't think you can get a barrel clamp to work without removing material from your forend.
