In January I bought a used rifled slug barrel for my Benelli SBE II 12 gauge and it came with Leupold Ultimate Slam 2-7x33 scope. One place where I deer hunt it's shotgun only. Tonight as it was getting darker I could no longer see the field clearly and even my binos were not giving me clear viewing so I looked through my scope. I was amazed with how much brighter things looked. At 100 yards I could have taken a shot with no problems that I would have never taken at 40 yards without a scope - not that I would take a shot when it is that dark, but I could have done it with confidence.
I really didnt expect Leupolds Ultimate Slam to provide that amount of light considering its low cost.
