Light Mount for 590A1 18.5 inch

I'm looking for a light mount for a 590A1 18.5 shotgun. I was looking at the Elzetta light mount but after looking at some pictures and then at the gun I can see it probably won't fit because it has nowhere to clamp on to. So I figured I'd get a mag extension and then it would have something to clamp onto, but yet again after looking at more pics of that setup it would still appear there is nothing for it to clamp on to.

What are my options for putting a light on the gun? Also, any other mag extensions sold in Canada other than the SJ Hardware one?

For the 590a1 we pretty much own the market on that item, as were were the company that came out with this item and the only one where you can fit 2 extra Rounds and still be flush with the end of the 18.5 inch barrel.
we have sold over 15 thousand of these, mostly to the usa

I had no idea. Was I correct to assume that the 18.5 inch with the mag extension will still not work with something like the elzetta light mount?

I don't know but our light mount works on the 590
I have our mag tube and light mount on one of my personal 590, my other one has a surefire forend light.
 
If you put on the S&J extension; This will definitely fit on it.

Can you post a pic of your 590 with the light mount? (not the surefire one)
 
GG&G makes a sling plate with rail for the 590, I just bought one and when it gets in I will take pics :)
 
My GG&G sling plate/rail just came in today :D

Here is a fast review

Quality *****
The quality of this part is top notch and they even put Loctite on the rail screws :)

Design ***
Great design, low profile, strong and looks great. now for the bad part... they screwed up by putting the detent ball on the wrong side :( This made the mount loose and wobbly. I was able the fix this issue by removing the detent ball with a punch and hammer. Now it fits perfect with zero movement and is rock solid! If you do remove the detent you should ensure to screw the cap on tight as there is no detent keeping it for coming loose.

I would highly recommend this even with the minor design mistake.
