Why now since I installed my geissele sabra pack I'm getting light primer strikes, almost seem like one per magazine and it's starting to piss me off!. I'm shooting norc ammo... but it never failed with oem trigger pack with same ammo? What is it and what should be done?

Heavier hammer spring
Prob solved

Other solution don't fire that chit norc ammo it utilizes harder primers because its military ammo.

Change the ammo or change the hammer spring your choice

If you plan on taking your rifle anywhere for any competition (D.C.R.A, N.R.A etc), your trigger will be weighed and must hold 5.5lbs as a minimum. That minimum was set by people who understood that a crisp trigger was far more important than a light trigger.

Nork primers are friggen hard and that's why you are having light primer strikes.

The so called "Match" triggers (That can't actually be used in any military matches) lighten the trigger weight by lightening the hammer spring.

I no experience with the Tavor, so take my info with a grain of salt

I have good experience with Geissele AR triggers and the are well known for using full power hammer springs in their match trigger .

Geissele, changes the trigger geometry to lighten the trigger ( see my previous post with pics ) , not low power springs

Yes, some manufacturers uses lighter hammer springs but , at least with the AR triggers , Geissele does not . All my Geissle will 100% ignite stubborn Wolf 7.62X39 primers

None of my non Geissle aftermarket triggers can come close ( RRA 2 NM , Timney , CMC ) with the Wolf 7.62x39

If find it odd, that Geissele for their Sabra triggers would go lighter on the hammer spring

You should call them . They have outstanding customer service

FWIW I have a Geissle trigger in my Tavor, and shoot almost exclusively Norc ammo. I have had zero failures to fire with it. Perhaps there is an issue with the hammer spring, but I wouldn't confine my search threre.

One of the big deals with Geissele triggers, including the Sabra, is reduced trigger pull weight while maintaining full power hammer spring. They do NOT lower the hammer spring weight.

Geissele Automatics are and can be used in military matches, in military rifles. They have been tested and approved for CF and RCMP use and are issued by both.

To the OP, if you are having a problem that you think is due to the trigger and are looking for advice, Geissele Automatics will gladly help you diagnose it. You should call them. Should there be a problem with the trigger, we warranty all triggers sold through Canadian distribution.

Best regards
