Looking for any input into light primer strikes I am experiencing.
I have a 12 gauge Franchi 48 AL semi auto shotgun and about every 10 / 12 discharges I get a non discharge and the primer shows a light strike. It always discharges on the second attempt.
I replaced the firing pin and spring 6 months ago and have thoroughly cleaned the trigger assembly.
This happens with all makes of cartridges and is not restricted to just one brand which presumably rules out any hard primers.
If anyone can throw any light on this or suggest a solution, then I would love to hear from you.
