I'm looking to create some light recoiling loads for the kids to shoot as their 1st centerfire. I have both 124 and 147gr projectiles. I have all the usual powders (Titegroup, W231, Longshot, HS-6, CFE Pistol, Bullseye, H110) and was wondering if anyone had developed any recipes that would be soft-ish shooting, cycle the slide, and accurate.

My usual load is 4.0gr Titegroup under 124 JHP, but they may find that too much to handle.

I'm using 3.3 grs of Tightgroup with the 147grs jacketed bullets. As light as I can go and still get good accuracy.
With 147grs bullets you don't break the speed of sound too, so they're a little quieter as well.
