Light recommendation for Springfield XD

I was looking at a light for my XD Tactical. Can anyone recommend one. Anyone use the Insight XML or newer X2 / X2L? (Please speak from hands on experience; I have already read what the gun rags say :wink: ) Is the extra $$$ worth it for the light /laser combo?

I have a number of lights that work well on my XD40...

Insight Technologies M3
Insight Technologies M3LED
Insight Technologies M6
Surefire X200

My Insight Technologoes M6X does NOT work well on my XD...while it does fit the rail, it does NOT lock in place due to the thickness of the battery cover/rear switch set up...it interferes with the trigger guard of the XD.

Of those listed above, it comes down to what features you'd like and what you are willing to spend.

So no adapters are required on the above models to fit my XD? Looks like I'll be going for the M3LED; 90 lumens and an LED option are worth the extra $40.
