I've got a Pietta PPS-50 and it's been giving me a bit of hassle. On a lot (15-20%) of rounds I get a light strike and the round will only fire on restrike. Every so often it won't even fire on restrike (though I'll put that down to ammo).
I initially thought it was ammo causing the problem (Winchester Super X HV), but then I tried Winchester Dynapoints and CCI Mini-Mags and I got the same issue. It's bizzare, it will go from doing it either every round or every other round to only doing it once every 20-40 rounds. I've yet to empty a full (50) round mag without this happening, which is really quite frustrating.
Will this issue go away in time or should I book her in for a visit with the gunsmith or is it something simple a n00b like me could fix?
