For some reason non of my rifles are very high speed. Lately I've been itching to break the 3000fps mark
Of all my center fire rifles ranging from 297/230 morris to 500 Jeffery, none are really hotrods. Their standard loads are 2450fps and below (303, 460w, 375hh, 500j, 6.5x55/53r, 43e, 44m, 45-70, 8mm, 577 and some pistol calibers)
So I've been wanting a new rifle that the standard loads is 3k+ fps
But I still have too many rifle projects that need funds before i buy a new rifle. So instead I figure I'd get the Win model 70 in 375 h&h above the 3k mark, it's a nice rifle that shoots very well.
What bullets are out there in the 200gr area.
I have seen the sierra pro hunters in 200gr but they say they should be around 2200 fps.
I'm looking for ~200gr bullets that will hold up hitting game at 3000 fps, they don't need to be hunting bullets but at the very least legal form hunting and ideally full copper so they still have good sectional density/ length to them
