other than messing with springs no you cannot adjust the weight of the trigger pull. That being said you have some options: if you have the 3 piece hammer spring assembly you could swap it out for the old style all steel assembly, this was lighter than the new one. You can also get a "skinny" trigger, Hence you will have a little more reach with your trigger finger, & an easier pull. If you have very small hands try a p229, often this will rectify the problem
