Lightening the bolt lift on a new rifle.

Ive just picked up my new Tikka 6.5x55 to start a project with, and the bolt is uncharacteristically ( for a Tikka ) heavy to ####.. it takes solid lift.. not so solid that i think its a faulty unit though..

just curious what would be the best way to lighten this up?

are there any 3rd party springs etc that i can buy

All brand new and un greased ?? Small amount of greas on the back of the bolt lugs may smooth things up a bit, I found my tikka was stiff until greased and used a bit, now silky smooth

May require minor laping!
Depending on where is binding, may require minor luping!

My Tikka was the same bro, real stiff. Probably due to the 70 degree bolt throw. An oversized knob might help get some more torque on it.
