What is the lightest folding stocks for those shotguns? Hopefully lighter than the factory regular stock. Mako Fab ABMF500K / UAS500, ATI - Saiga Talon Tactical Rear Pistol Grip, Arms Tech Limited, ATI Scorpion Recoil System side folder, ATI MTF4900 marine top folder, Knoxx folders, Mesa folders .. ?
If steel is used then should be nickel-plated or stainless or something anti-corrosion.
I've read that the one by Choate is about 0.5lbs more than the one by Butler Creek, which itself is heavier than the factory stock. For lightweight backpacking every ounce count. Also I think the ones by Butler Creek are made of regular (not stainless) steel.
If instead you buy/make a Mossberg Mariner 14" Compact I guess the only folding stock option is the Knoxx® SpecOps Stock Folder (to make sure its OAL is at least 26")?
