I currently have a Browning M-1000 eclipse .300 wsm with a leupold 6.5-20x50mm scope and a harris bipod on it for both hunting and the range. This gun is a pain in the butt to haul around when hunting as it is very heavy. I would like to make this a dedicated range rifle and pick up something much more carry friendly that is still able to go out to the range and shoot well at long distance (1000yrds). Do you guys have any good factory rifle suggestions or would the custom route be the way to go?
