As many of us know, SR-22's are a little on the heavy side with the alluminum forend, rails etc.. I need to save weight anywhere possible..
Looks like I can reduce the most weight for the least cost by switching optics to a simple red dot reticle sight.
Who recommends what to use for a good price (south of a hundred bones)
Also, like to have it co-witness my mbus sights

Don't know if you would think it's alright, but I have used several different airsoft clones on mine before I stripped it down and went with a Boyds stock (pics revealed later). I think the smallest and lightest would be the Dr.Sight, which you can get for $60.00. Or you can get NC Star holographic reflex sites that work alright as well.

try airsofthunting or airsoftvanguard,
I got from them Aimpoint knock off for $40.00 shipping included. Many rounds fired and it still works well

Hello Utah

I would recommend a Bushnell TRS-25.
Great quality at 3 MOA and very reasonable price if you do some looking.
I've used cheap from decent to expensive...this is a good medium.

I found cheap ones like BSA RD30 and clone likes just don't hold zero for long.

Hmm, is that something I'd find through airsoft gear sites? looks pretty good.. Anyone else use reflex sites like this?

I do like that one as well... about twice the cost, but as long as it's light, may be a better option..

I had an NCSTAR reflex on my regular 10/22 for a short while. The "recoil" of the rifle made the reticule turn on and off with each shot. I will never try one of those again. Right now I am running the wal-mart special Tasco red dot on my SR, and it is actually holding up way better than the NCSTAR did. Eventually, I'd like to get an Eotech or somthing, as the reflex sight was really awsome to shoot with.
