I'm trying to load .45 Colt for the 2023 CAS season but I'm almost our of my favourite Trail Boss.
I have a little Clays and Unique left and a full bottle of LIL GUN.
I looked around, but I can't find any data for loading .45 Colt and a 250 grain bullet, good to use in New Model Vaqueros.
Does anyone know of published loading data for LIL Gun or should I try to trade it off for something I can use?
Due to old age and arthritis in my hands, I giving up on WARTHOG loads and trying to run around 700 to 750 fps.

I have never looked into it, but my impression was LIL Gun is a slow burning powder that, in handguns, is best suited for heavy magnum loads. Light loads in a .45 colt does not sound like a good application.

Kid: Better to trade it off... if possible, for something more suitable. Lil Gun seems more often used in 410 shotshell loads.

Note: Some years ago, Hodgdon did publish limited load data for Lil Gun/45 Colt*. But....it was intended for large frame Ruger revolvers, including: Vaquero(Old Vaquero), only.

Even then, minimum muzzle velocities were way over maximum allowed for CAS. Somewhere in the region of 1200 fps.-plus.
