I can't say enough about the limbsaver I put on my stevens 200 in 300WM. Last time shooting without it, I got a bruise I still have 5 weeks later, this time with it, OMG! It's made my rifle into a very fun shooter, I pull the trigger to feel the pillowy softness! I didn't see tikka listed on the limbsaver site, Unless they are the same size as a listed rifle, you might need to go with the grind to fit one, or the one that you wear on your shoulder. Whichever way you go, you'll love it, I'm sure.

Wholesale and Russells Sports in Calgary Alberta carry them . I just purchased 2 T3 prefits and 1 grind to fit for my savage. Great recoil pad worth the money.
I just put a Grind to fit on mine, but I had to cut the stock (at an angle) as the pad was a uniform 1" thick, whereas the fatory pad is tapered (narrower at the top).
They are nice to shoot with!
My rifle is only a 7mm-08 but my long term plan is to make it shoot like a 22-250. After that I might try to get my 22-250 to shoot like a .223.

Do you have a belt sander? get a couple of teh cheap Bell brand pads (about $5-$10) and give her a shot, once you get good at it, just do your own, I used to pay a smith but didn't like the work, I now do all of my own and am quite happy with them.

I can almost guarantee there are holes hidden on the pad, but some were glued on.
look on the pad wher ethe holes should be, an poke areound with a phillips screw driver or something that won't poke a hole in your pad. Some pads have VERY well hidden holes. You can also squeeze the pad etc to find it.

Mine is a Win M70 XTR, like Bill C68 says, the holes can be hard to find. I put petroleum jelly on the screw driver end to not damage the pad. If there are no holes then it would have to be glued on. Does that Rem not have a pad that says "R3" on it? because the R3 is basically a Limbsaver with Remington's name on it.
bill c68, aren't you supposed to put the pads in the freezer before you sand them down, that's what I've heard, makes sense to me.

The limbsaver I had a friend put on my 300 Ultra Mag made the difference for me. I spent the day practicing with my 300 Ultra Mag and I put about 40 rounds down range and without that limbsaver I am willing to bet it would have been more like 15-20 rounds. The factory pad just plain hurt and the limbsaver makes it shootable IMO...
After you get the shape you want, you can freeze them and wet sand them to get them a bit smoother, they are much softer than most pad and it is a bit difficult to get htme to look pretty.
I have done 3 I think and I tried the freezing thing with the last one, made some difference but I was impatient and just threw it on.
