Lithgow arms la101 22lr

I paid like 3000$ for a vudoo 22 lr barreled action that’s on its way. A lithgow with stock and trigger on it for 1200 Canadian is not insanely priced. I used my income tax to pay for my vudoo rifle. I have a small income. You can buy this lithgow rifle lol I almost bought one of them. They look good

I have a couple of LA101's. My wife's laminated version has had a few upgrades in the way of match chambered stainless barrel, trigger work, bedding etc. My walnut stocked rifle has had trigger work and a touched up crown.
These are rigid, compact actions with a good ignition system.
We shoot these rifles head to head regularly with other reputable German & American rifles - Anschutz 54, Cooper 57M, Weihrauch HW66, Walther KK and a few other customs built on various actions.
All these are sporter type rim fires but I can say that the LA101 build is the most consistently accurate 22 I have had in my possession in over 50 years of collecting rim fires.
Pictures always tell the story better than words.

Above and there are at least 2 dealers in Canada, one in Cambridge Ont. you could probably order through them. Never hurts to ask, just the price of a phone call for a 1400$ gun it’s cheap

Lithgow are producing these rifles in small numbers so there is a trade off in that the LA101 is supplied with plastic magazines, trigger guards, bolt knob & shroud etc. I've put thousands of rounds through my own un-modified gun and have had zero issues with any of these parts. I use both OEM mags and CZ 5 round metal mags in these rifles.
Like all mid priced 22's, some shoot better than others. My first was about on a par with a 1416DHB I had at the time. The second is very accurate as supplied and my 1710's need to be having a good day to out-shoot it.
Pictured below is the 5 shot group my wife shot from her up-graded LA101 with her first touch of the rifle. I had just put it together, zeroed a Leupold 3-9EFR and she produced that. I've had a number of barrels from the same supplier - All shoot well but this one would do justice to a full on BR rig.
The LA101 receiver is threaded and their "extractor slot" design is somewhat radical.
A few nice after market bits are available in Aus. and these suppliers will usually ship internationally. I know Bob at DIP Products in the US has an LA101 so perhaps he will produce a TG for us one day!
