Little Remington 700 love in the this time of darkness Tac Pro Cheek Riser installed

So with all the gloom and doom I decided to post up something positive. Here is my freshly installed Tac Pro cheek riser. I got the do it yourself kit from Tac Pro and it was pretty easy to do. Next up KRG bolt lift I think.

Worked AMAZINGLY well on my 5R until I swapped out the stock. Very easy to install, and it is rock solid.

Looks good. That loudener might be overkill. I wouldn't want to be anywhere near that thing when you shoot it.

How does it shoot?

Muzzle break is a generic ebay refinished with ceramic brake paint. Shoots straight and accurate when I do my part.

Thanks! The only thing I did different from the video & Instructions was let the kydex sit in the oven for 2 minutes as opposed to 1. After 1 it was still hard.

Sorry to say as of a lawsuit just settled every single 700 from the 50s to now 8 million rifles. Has nothing to do with XMP but the way the safety and bolt and trigger go together.

You are correct.

There is a potential settlement for the class action lawsuit filed against 700's with the Walker trigger.

There is also a recall of XMP triggers in 700's made on or after 2006. (I know about this one as I bought 700 SPS Tac 1 month ago)

Luckily, there is no recall on the TAC PRO cheek rest.

lol. Highly recommend it to anyone without a perfect cheek weld. Shipping was fast price was right. Came with printed instructions that were clear and easy to read. Nice not to have to float my face or use my hand to raise my cheek.
