Does anyone out there have any experience with Chiappa rifles in particular the Little Sharps as to overall quality and what kind of accuracy they deliver

Thanks

The Lyman is made by Chiappa, Marstar sells Chiappa so they should be able to bring them in. I'm tempted, but would be more impressed with a 80% scale Winchester 1885 in .22 Hornet.

Gunslinger....have you considered the C. Sharps Lo-wall 1885, made in the USA and being a low-wall would prolly weigh 80% of a Hi-wall. I didn't want to hijack the thread but i believe the quality of US models will be much superior. The Sharps design has a rather tricky Firing pin, and if steel quality or fitting is not tops, you could be in for alot of probs, with the Chiabatta.

Just checked out their website, the low wall looks very nice, spendy though at $2000. I just like the scale of the 80% guns in smaller calibers. Might just throw caution to the wind an get a new Winchester 1885 in 45-70, go big or go home!

I just got a Davidson Special Winchester Highwall in 45/70 and it is quite a nice piece. Gets a lot of attention at the range. I saw an ad recently for one of these scale downs but do not remember where-mebbe Epps?? They carry the Uberti and Pedersoli stuff so right up their alley.
