THE TRADE.-----this is what I gave. (The two rifles and Browning pistols belonged to my late Father.)
PLUS $380 --one of my earliest trades in 1990.
I purchased the Model 1860 Colt Army revolver shown below from the same collector in 1989.
I got a better one some years later so I traded it .
This is what I had to trade to get it.
I decided to trade it for a M1863 Starr S/A revolver.
I was a newbee to Civil War stuff back in 1989----and I was dealing with an old PRO----it is definitely one way to learn!
The Artillery Luger that was included in one of the trades came from him----it was a bogus pistol.
