Living in Quebec and shooting a handgun in Ontario

Good day everyone,

I am in the process of taking the courses for a PAL so I can own a handgun for target shooting. I reside in Quebec so the firearm will be in Quebec, but will be shooting in Ontario because of the availability of gun clubs in Ontario. Does anyone foresee a potential problem with that? I understand that the laws are regulated on a federal level, but from what I understand the ATTs are issued by the province's CFOs. Is that going to be okay? Which province will it be issued from then? Also, would I hypothetically have a problem from going to buy a firearm in Ontario, and using a Temporary ATT to bring it back home in Quebec?

I would appreciate any thoughts into this,

Thanks.

I live in Quebec and i am a member in a club in Ontario. I never had any problem getting an ATT, which is delivered by the province of residency. That being said, in Quebec, we don't get an ATT for every certified range but just for the range(s) you are member at.

Ahh, thanks, that clarifies it.
