does anyone else have an ag-42b if so what kinna accuracy as you getting? right now im shooting around 1 inch at 50 yards with igman ammo i feel it is half decent havent tried it out to 100 yards yet will do that next time

ive put around 200 rnds through this rifle so far and have not had a single jam or misfeed the quality of the rifle is unbeatable ive never seen another military rifle made this well

so does anyone else own one of thease great Sweedish rifles:)

I have two complete ones, and one in parts. I haven't shot one in a few years, they will chew the brass up if they don't have the rubber bumper on the ejection port.
They'll bend the brass even with the rubber bumper!
I usually have to tie-wrap a big blob of poly foam on the shell deflector in order to save that precious brass.
I do the same with the Egyptian son of the Ljungmann, the Hakim.

I have one, very fun to shoot! And very very accurate. Be careful taking the dust cover/bolt carrier apart, had the bolt fly across the room once. And of course, watch your fingers!

Never run that chance; just push a little on the dust cover, put the safety lever on the rifle's centerline and lift the safety block out then ride the dust cover slide slowly to the rear under control.
Once done, invert the rifle and pull back the bolt/carrier assembly, it will fall into your hand.
It's easier and a whole lot safer than taking the assembly under spring tension out of the rifle.

I have a few of them and find they are indeed accurate, One has been modified to where it is scoped and the gas block has an adjustment to reduce the gas press on ejection, brass does not go very far and no damage to the brass. The scoped one will put 5 shots into a 2" group at a 100M(handloads) if I do my part, plus recoil is very mild.

I have one and they are a hoot to shoot! They are one of the best bargains in mil-surp rifles. There was only thirty three to thirty five thousand ever made yet they usually cost less than three hundred bucks. In the US the prices are two or even three times that.

Ag 42b

I have the parts required to convert one to target with a peep sight mounted on the cover. It shot really well and I later purchased the parts to convert it back to original. I have the Hakim, & Rashid, but I need the rubber guard to prevent the brass from being totally destroyed.

Got any pics of the scoped Ljungman?

I bought a few of them when Allan Lever was selling them for 49.95. He had the night sights, tool kits, ammo belts and slings also.

Had three but now only one.

I really wish people would realize there is really no way to scope these efectivley without some major modding. And even then.....
