LNL AP Powder Measure Powder Stuck To Inside

I just finished loading up some 380's with Tite Group drained the powder and noticed there is a layer of powder stuck to the interior of the dispensor down near the red part where it cones down. I used a plastic tube to try and remove it buy its like its glued to the surface... anyone else experince this? How should I clean it off so I can switch powders.

Static can make the powder cling like that.

If it happens to me I just tap the measure a few times & the powder falls free.

Its not static... I am wondering if the red paint wasnt entirely dry and powder stuck to it...

I have the same problem with Bullseye and RCBS thrower.

That's the only thing I dislike about Titegroup. Flip it upside down and tap with a screwdriver handle - should dislodge most of it.

I was scraping it with bronze brush it won't come off... tapping it does nothing.

If you can't getit off it won't contaminate the next powder you put in there. I think it has somethign to do with leaving a power ina thrower for a long time.

Point taken. Have you tried a long-necked BBQ lighter?

If you left it in the hopper for too long, it's melded to the plastic. You can live with it or order a new hopper from Hornady.

You can see that its not stuck to the plastic its stuck to the cast metal part... at the 4 to 5 o'clock postition you can see I scraped a bit off it off.
