Has anyone tried using the Lee expander die in a AP? I was thinking with the pour thru cap on it might work.

Primer tubes are also new to me, what is the easy way to fill these?

thanks

Don't know about the Lee expander but here's a good video showing how to load primers:

Click this link then scroll the Youtube menu on the left till you find the video titled "Loading Primers"

There are quite a few Youtube videos showing various parts of the L&L in operation. You may just want to browse the site.

On the expander die, it's a standard thread and will fit a LNL bushing, should work fine. Haven't tried it.

On the primer tubes:
- the easy way is a Dillon RF100. Money.
- the next-easiest way is a Frankford Arsenal Vibra-Prime. Discontinued, and fussy to get running (as is the RF100, apparently).

After that, you're looking at the standard way: picking them up off of the primer tray.

Thanks for that link and there is alot of videos, that fellow has put a great deal of time into sharing his ideas and experience.

I guess loading the primer tube is going to be one of those things I will get good at over time. Seems like a pain in the arse to me at this time.
