Well if all goes well, I should be taking the metallic reloading plunge shortly. 100 .30 REM cases are on order. The plan is to get one of those Lee Classic 'load-all' loaders, so I can have an adequate supply of shootin' and huntin' ammo. This'll be factory style ammo for a hard-to-find cartridge. I guess I'll probably shoot a couple of boxes/year at most.

A buddy has a reloading setup so I'll prime it all on his machine, rather than the mallet method. I think I just have to make sure I've got the appropriate case holder size.

I'll either get 150 or 170 gr RN boolits, as this'll be for deer up to 100 yds.

What can people recommend for powder? (I may be reloading for 6.5 Swede and/or .303 Br in the near future as well, so could one powder be used for all 3 cartridges? I dunno.)

Let me know about the powder recommendation, and any thoughts on the Lee Loader.

My first loading book, bought in the '60's, had one set of data for both the 30/30 and .30 Rem. After-all, the dimensions are identical except for the rim. So any 30/30 load should do.

BTW, where were you able to find .30 Rem. brass? I've passed on a few guns chambered in that cartridge in recent years because I heard brass was impossible to find.
