Load data for 338 Win Mag

I have a box of Nosler Ballistic Tip 338 / 200 gr. Spitzer bullets. I am looking for some load data using H4831 powder. Also what COL using this bullet. I have tried searching the net and cannot find any data on this particular bullet. Hope someone can help.

Nosler #6 doesn't list H4831, but for IMR4831:

71.0 - 75.0 grains max.
Velocity 2872 fps at max load.
Max COL for all bullets 3.340".

24" barrel, Win case, Fed 215 primer.

Start low and work up carefully.

hf, thanks for the reply. I was concerned that if I set COL to 3.340" that I might be reducing the case pressure too much with the 200 grain bullet as opposed to a heavier bullet set at 3.340" COL. Would this not be the case?

Hogdon has H4831 listed on their site.

200 GR. SPR SP H4831 .338" 3.300" OAL

min 70.0 2703 41,300 CUP
max 77.5C 2965 52,400 CUP

FWIW, I usually load mine to fit the magazine, or just off the lands, whichever is shortest...
