Load data for H4895 for .308

I loaded some 110gr Vmax bullets tonight. .308 and the one load data I found said to use 45grs of H4895.

I then went on to load some more in 168gr hpbt and the load data was 41grs H4895.

Does this seem right to you guys?

Any recommendations on a ball powder or should i stick with the stick powder?

I have the LEE book and the Lyman load data books, any recommendations on other books?

The Hodgdon site on the net shows 308 W,
110 grain bullet, full load of H4895---49 grains.
168 grain bullet, full load of H4895--43.5 grains.

I figured because they didn't seem right. Well at least there light and not hot. See how they perform and I will load out the rest to hodgdons site.
