I have been looking into getting a PS-90 for a little while now, and the only thing holding me back is the lack of ammo.

Is there a reasonabe amount ofsupplies out there to load the cartridge, bullets, powder, dies, etc?

I have all the equipment to load, I just need to know if the components are out there.

If reloading is an option, what can I expect to pay per cartridge? Anything under $0.75 a cartridge and I would be happy.

I reload 30-06 and 6.5x55 for less than $0.75/round, if you can find brass there should be no problem with coming in way under that cost. I would expect costs to be in line with .223, considering that the 5.7 shoots a light .224 calibre bullet at modest velocities and uses small rifle primers. Nothing spooky there at all, as long as brass is available at reasonable cost.

Are dies easily available as well?

According to www sources, the action starts to open early, causing serious? body and case head expansion. If you could get new unprimed brass and load light, reloading might be ok.

dies also available from lyman and lee (special order)

all info available on the stickies @ fivesevenforum.com

brass is coated with a lacquer I can't remember what kind, which is crucial to proper p90 cycling. IIRC no tumbling if you want to keep the lacquer. Too much hassle for just a "unique" toy at the range I dropped the project
