Does anyone use the Safariland Loading Block to charge your speedloaders?

I want to use my model 28 to try PPC this spring but the specs and recommended revolvers these thing call for do not state they will work for an N frame speedloader, do they have enough " rattle " so they will work with different styles of speedloaders?

I use a Safariland loading block/tray for my L-Frames and GP100 speedloaders (these revolvers have the same diameter) and cartridges fit just right in the holes with the slightest amount of play so cartridges will fit the correct size speedloader only. I doubt if the tray designed for L frame speedloaders will work for N frame speedloaders, or any other speedloaders for that matter.

I have seen guys make there own loading blocks out of a couple layers of plywood laminated together and partially drilled thru to hold the bullets. You
would have to make a template of the size needed and then drill all those holes but it could be done with a little patience. I used to buy the safariland tray and then cut out the individual loading blocks and screw them to the top of a 5 gallon pail with a inner circle of wood installed. Center of the wood would have a hole in which you could dump your empties while on the shooting line-worked really well but you will have to do more work with a N frame I suspect because
I don't think I have ever seen loading blocks for anything bigger than the L.
