Loading for 6.5 Rem Mag

Sorry if I'm in the wrong forum:
I'm currently rebarreling my FN Mauser into 6.5 Rem Mag and I have a question.Will this chambering stablize a 140gr bullet in a 1:9 Twist barrel(Partition,Barnes X).

Yes, and you will be able to load it out to 3.2" COL or so, which will help you chase velocity (assuming you cut the chamber to accommodate that COL). Should be able to hit 2900 fps with 140 gr bullets, assuming a 22" or longer barrel. - dan
