Does anyone here load for a ZKK 6.5x55?

I'd like a ballpark reference point to start with.

I know each rifle likes different fodder, but if I get a sample load then I can start lower and work up to it and over if it's not already a maximum load.

This is worth a try.

Winchester case or what you have available (if you can get norma or Lapua its even better since they actually have the proper dimension at the case head)
Primer: your choice, Ive used Winchester WLR's
140gr. bullet (your choice)
RL-22 - start around 44gr. and work up for accuracy. Im loading 48gr. for hunting load in my Tikka. (140gr. partition) I was loading 46.7 in an older swedish mauser.

What is the load for? Target shooting, varminting, if so at what range? Big game hunting? If so on what size of game? When you ask to provide data without stating the intended purpose of the load, you're asking for a book. Just refer to the data on the Hodgdon web site.

Ya some preference to bullet weight and powder manu. would help. I usually start with a manual then go to a powder manu. web site for up to date info. Hodgon and Alliant are two i frequent.

Oops.

I was thinking 140 grain Hornady Interlock bullets and H4350 powder for deer hunting. That's what I have on hand as well as some H4831.
