LOADING INFO 32-40 Winchester "Wanted"

That's blasphemy!! The .32/40 became and still is one of the most accurate Schuetzen calibers, and CBA's PBB class champions, all with proper fitted cast bullets. J-word bullets offer no advantage except harder on the bore esp. older bores. Most general loading info. is in Lyman's Cast Bullet Manual, I use H-108 in my single shots and H-4227 for heavier loads in my leverguns.

OK, Here is a copy from the first edition, Lyman's Handbook of Cast Bullets.
Ben, maybe now he will do the right thing!
Not likely any worry about case length, because I don't think that case would grow very fast, but this chart gives you the case length.

Shouldn't be too great a difference between the pressures with jacketed and cast bullets.
I would go with the lightest load, or maybe a grain or two under, in the Lyman book, for a 175 grain cast.
