Loading the 115 grain Barnes TSX in 25-06

Looking for someone with experience using the Barnes 115 grain TSX bullet in the 25-06.
While the recommendation on the box is for 1-9 twist it would appear my rifle, a Remington 700 Stainless SPS, has the standard 1 in 10.
Surely someone has some experience with this bullet and load.
Sierra's accuracy load is 50.5 grains of Re22 for their 117 - 120 grain bullets. Barnes runs this load to 53.0 grains.
Barnes accuracy load is max at 52.0 grains of H4831. Their loading data shows a 1 in 10 twist.
Nosler lists 49.0 grains of IMR 4350 as the MAL for the 115 grain bullets and the same load for 120 grain bullets, both being max. Although with the 120 grain loadings Retumbo is most accurate powder at minimum charge. Retumbo is the only powder I don't have which is okay.
 
Try the 100gr TSX? I use it in my 25-06 exclusively now. Dropped a big bull moose 2 falls ago. It worked as well as ANY .30 cal bullet I have used yet. Since it doesnt shed weight I opted for the lighter 100gr over the 115 so I could launch it faster for more reliable expansion.
 
Well here’s my story
I. Shooting a browning bar (semi)one day just for kicks I tried the barns 115,s ha so so results ..... the. Tried the 100’s well holy Hanna !!! My gun is like a lazer beam I ####you not !!!..... I use reloader 19 and it’s like magic...I chrony my loads and they are running around 2900 plus or minus what 20 fps and anything standing 500 meter yes 500 meters is on the ground and meat in the freezer
And the damage that the 100 gr barns bullet does is impressive

X 2 ....you'll never look back.....Good luck.....Oh, and I have never recovered a round whether it be from a deer or an elk.
 
The rifle is sighted in for the 100 grain Barnes.
Thinking these rounds would impact the target at 100 meters was wishful thinking.
At 50 m. the shot was 3 inches to the left.
Back to 100 and the shot was 6" high and 3" left. Next was about 3" high and 5" left. The last one was off the paper.
Examination of the target would suggest a lack of stability.
Problem solved . . . won't try that again.
So there are 43 rounds available . . . check the EE.
 
the 115TSX @ 3150 fps has a SG of 1.33, marginally stable but likely to shoot accurate. BC is reduced slightly, but it's bad anyways so doesn't matter. Ideal twist of 1:9.25 or faster

At lower velocity the stability is reduced. This could be your problem
