Do you have the ackley, gibbs or hawk version. I have gibbs and used published max 6.5/06 loads to start, and went up from there. I have a 8.75 twist barrel and use only long bullets now so can't really help much. I shoot 143gr. @ 3100. This is the most accurate load in my rifle. Got much higher fps but sacrificed accuracy. I think the 6.5 bore on an '06 case is one of the best combinations. Mark
