Any idea what is the better bullet weight for thoses, 150gr or 196gr? I know that these semi auto need a relatively fast powder. Hogdon suggest for 150gr powdwer such as h335,BL-C2(i have thoses powder on hand so would be pratical for me) and the 196gr need powder in the 4895 range. Any advices? The portuguese or Egyptian stuff, what weight of bullet they use? Thx:)

Given the semi-auto gas-operated systems of these rifles I would say the lighter 150gr. would be better.
Heavier bullets require slower burning powders to perform well and this can cause problems with higher pressures at the gas port.
The Hakim (and his parent, the Ljungmann) is very prone to problems with slow powders. This can range from rim ripping to premature opening with subsequent case blowout and ballooning of the magazine and magazine well.
Stick to powders with the same burning characteristics as the good ol' Bl-C2 and everything will stay in one piece.
PP.

According to the burning rate, BL-C2 is a bit slower than H4895 but should be fine with 150gr bullet in a semi-auto. I will try the H335 too since i have good resut with that powder in my garand with 150gr, i will see if my rifles like, anyway i will use thoses loads for my K98 as well. Better to stick to 1 loading for all my 7.92 rifles to avoid confusion. Thx:)

I've tried H4895 with 170gr for the 8mm Hakeem and FN-49 and 150gr 30cal with varget for my FN-49 30-06. No issues at all.
